Use the camera is manual photography mode as it provides total control over the camera settings, otherwise the camera will automatically change the settings if you are in auto-mode.
ISO: 800 (subject to change based on atmospheric condition and clarity of the sky)
Aperture: f6.3 (make sure that the lens in extended completely). If you are using a different camera that allows the numerical value beside âfâ to be further decreased keeping the focal length to be at the maximum value(300mm in our case), then always prefer that. Larger aperture allows higher resolution.
Shutter speed/exposure time: 1/800 for a clear sunny day, you might need to change it depending upon the faintness of the sun due to clouds. This causes the image brightness to vary. Use the scrolling wheel indicated in the image below to change shutter speed.

Rest of the settings need not be disturbed, and let it be at their default value. But it is not bad to experiments and learn more about them and their effect on your images in leisure time.
